CBU's September of Service is the perfect way to get your daily dose of service activities in September. CBU will host a different service project each day in September allowing you and your friends to get out and serve the community while having fun!

CBU S.O.S. – September of Service: 30 Days of Good Deeds is an exciting new service initiative at Christian Brothers University. It is designed to give CBU students, faculty, staff, and alumni a different opportunity to serve the Memphis community every day in September. Don't worry, you don't have to participate every day, just pick your favorite! Please note, we discourage students from missing class to participate in S.O.S. We want you to volunteer, but we also want you to succeed academically!!

By putting CBU’s Lasallian values of faith, service, and community into action, CBU’s S.O.S. will benefit Memphis agencies and the clients they serve. At the same time we will become more aware of the needs in Memphis and how we can directly have a positive impact on our community. At every project, participants will have a snazzy multimedia opportunity to express why they are serving. They will also receive a ticket for door prizes to be given away at the S.O.S. finale at 7pm on Friday, October 5 on CBU's campus.

Remember, if you sign up we are counting on you so please be sure you can commit to the project before you sign up! Participants will sign CBU and agency release forms before leaving CBU for the project.

Please note: Your S.O.S. team members are not professionals. We have never done this before but are working hard to have as few project hiccups as possible. Please be patient with us, particularly in the early stages, as we work out the kinks.
